南アフリカ出身の写真家John Thackwrayさんが始めた「マイルーム・プロジェクト」が話題です。彼は、プロジェクトとして、６年間以上にわたって、５５カ国１０００人以上のベッドルームをこれまで撮影してきました。最初は面白半分で、友達のベッドルームを撮影した彼ですが、それが次第に大きなプロジェクトとなり、メキシコ、ロシア、ネパール、日本など各地をまわるようになったそうです。特定の世代の希望や願望を比較するために、８０年、９０年代に生まれた若者の部屋を撮影しています。彼が撮影した写真を一部ご紹介。みなさんのお部屋、覗き見しちゃいましょう！
